Wood Nest – Montessori House Bed 90 × 200 cm

The Wood Nest bed has been designed for children who have outgrown their cot and are ready for greater

independence. Inspired by the Montessori philosophy, it encourages the development of independence, allowing the child to use the bed freely without adult assistance.

The low design means that your little one can safely get in and out of bed on their own, building a sense of confidence and comfort in their own space.

The distinctive house-shaped design creates a cosy space for sleeping, playing and relaxing. The wooden frame can also serve a decorative purpose – it is ideal for hanging fairy lights, a canopy or light fabrics.

The bed is fitted with a sturdy wooden slatted base, which ensures proper ventilation and a comfortable night’s sleep.

The Wood Nest model can be adapted to your child’s needs with additional components (sold separately):

– a front safety rail (2/3 of the length),

– a set of side panels fitted on three sides

MATERIALS AND FINISH

• Construction: varnished pine blockboard

• Mattress base: beech plywood

• Finish: child-safe water-based varnishes

The varnishing process uses water-based varnishes certified in accordance with the EN71/3 standard, which are safe for children and used in

children’s furniture and toys.

Pine wood is a natural material, so there may be subtle variations in colour and visible grain patterns and joints. This makes each bed unique and gives it its own individual character.

GOOD TO KNOW

• The bed is designed for children from around 18 months of age, but its use should always be adapted to the child’s individual development. Parents are best placed to assess their child’s readiness to use this type of bed.

CARE

Wipe the bed with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
